A: I have a folder containing pictures and document files that I want to hide, how can I keep them from others seeing but me able to find them? And how can I put a lock on the folder so if found it is not opened?

How to hide folders/files/apps for Mac OS X?

Step 1: Install Mac Folder Hider app on your Mac, you’ll see the simple user interface as below.

Step 2: Drag and drop some folders or files you need to hide, and tick them. Then the folders or files will disappear from your Mac original location.

Step 3: You can password-protect your folders or files by setting a password, just tick Require password.
